I’m excited, now that it’s December. Bring on the Christmas season, and let the countdown begin!

December 1st is not only the first day of the last month of the year – it also marks World AIDS day. And this year is the 20th anniversary of the event.
Yes, there are certain stereotypes and stigmas about AIDS. But I have seen first-hand the effects of this terrible disease on people. I have seen the orphaned children in Africa whose lives have been forever changed because of it. And this is something that isn’t just happening in Africa – it is a worldwide problem. I believe science will one day find a cure. Today, let us remember those who are affected by this malady and say a prayer for that cure to come soon.
